Hi:

I am working on a problem on one of our custom prompt table: the data listed in the prompt table is from a view (of course) and it returns about 20,000 rows, it takes long time to transfer the 20,000 rows from server to the client. I can't change the SQL of the view unless the view can accept parms as part of its where clause (and I don't know if this is possible on PeopleSoft). Can anyone point me a direction on how to handle this? or if there is a way to modify the process of loading the prompt/edit table?

Any advise is deeply appreciated.

Shusheng Li
