Error running reports to Excel in Terminal Server Environment

Hi folks,

I'm an NT tech working on a PeopleSoft project. The environment is PeopleTools 8.12 and Excel 2000 running on NT 4.0 Terminal Server with Citrix Metaframe XP.

My problem is that when the user attempts to run a report to Excel, we get an error which says:

"Assertion (m_pNam !=NULL) Failed at F:\pt81210-retail\SRC\psnvd\nvdnam.cpp, line 181. See trace file. Cancel for debugger."

Has anyone seen this and resolved it? I've fiddled with permissions on files, ODBC, application settings and nothing so far. Any help would be much appreciated.
