Upgrading from 7.5 to 8

Our company is beginning to look at the upgrade from version 7.5 to 8 for HRMS, Payroll, AP, and GL.

Has anyone installed v8 successfully and then converted any or all of the above modules?

I would be interested in any help and/or advice.
