If this was truly a quest for qualified consultants being recognized, ANYONE, including independent consultants would be invited to participate and test their knowledge.
: This has turned out to be a great discussion with all of you bringing up very relevant points. I would like to add a few more issues to this.
: 1)What if PeopleSoft starts insisting that clients use only 'certified' consultants?
: For eg;they are already insisting that the installation of PS should be done by the vendor or certified consultants or else there won't be any support.
: 2)Even if we wish to, there is no way that an independant consultant can get a certification. So how do we address this?
