To the senior PeopleSoft Consultants,

Would like to start a serious discussion on the impact of PeopleSoft Certification process. As per the latest news releases, PeopleSoft is dropping more than half of their partners and concentrating on a few big names only. Also they have started a certification process for consultants and have send hints to clients that it will be better to work with certified consultants only.

The idea, I guess is to move into the lucrative consulting business by creating a new set of requirements.

What do you think about this move by PS? How do you think this will impact the independant and boutique consultants? Any insights/comments?
