Impact is seeking a Sr. PeopleSoft Project Mgr. to manage medium to large projects for the Information Solutions department. Projects may encompass any or all of the following areas: implementation and integration of PeopleSoft Applications, including but not limited to HR and Financial Modules.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, risk mitigation plans; manage and control project activities in accordance with plans and schedules.
Assign and direct work activities for project team members
Lead project efforts and coordinate integration efforts with other I.S. teams
Monitor project status; provide regular project status updates to business users and I.S. management.
Create business value through successful project completion, balancing schedule, financial and business objectives
Our requirements include:
Professional project management experience required (3+ years minimum) on medium to large projects;
Experience with PeopleSoft implementations in 30,000+ organization required
Proven record of successful implementation of major PeopleSoft and Financial application integration.
Proven ability to organize and lead teams
Good decision-making skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or commitment to achieve PMP certification within 6 months of placement.
Preference will be given to candidates who have been actively pursuing PMP training or certification.
Experience with project management scheduling tools required (MS Project preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
Accounting degree or equivalent experience preferred
