Job Responsibilities:

The PeopleSoft Administrator is responsible for
supporting the PeopleSoft client/server enterprise
application environment. This includes responsibility
for activities related to migration of patches,
upgrades and changes to production as well as support
and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Application
Environment (Application Server, Process Server,
PeopleTools, and other related tools). The PeopleSoft
Administrator is also responsible for maintaining
documentation on patch level and changes applied in
production environment as well as providing input into
the instance management process.

·Participate as a team member in the Information and
Application Services department.

·Participate in the development of procedures for
monitoring, tracking progress and reporting on
internal problem resolution and with PeopleSoft.

·Monitor the PeopleSoft web site on a regular basis
and identify any needed patches, upgrades or changes
affecting the PeopleSoft Application Environment
(Application Server, Process Server, PeopleTools, and
other related tools).

·Apply patches, upgrades or changes to the PeopleSoft
Application Environment (Application Server, Process
Server, PeopleTools, and other related tools).

·Coordinate with application developers, technical
leads, database administrators, and management to
develop, participate in, and enforce procedures for:
·Change Control.
·Communication of patches, upgrades, and changes to
production, including schedule, to all affected
parties (technical staff and end users).
·Migration of changes to production
·Reversal plans
·Reversal of failed migrations.
·Documentation of changes applied to production
(affected entities, responsible person, etc.).

·Instance management.

·Coordinate with Help Desk and Networks regarding
production configuration changes.

Skill Requirements:

Experience working with most of the following:
SQL, SQR, People Tools, People Code, Crystal Reports,
Nvision, Data Mover PeopleSoft Application
Server/Engine, PeopleSoft Process Server. Also
production support experience with similar job
