Component Interface in PS 8 & Business Interlink.

Hi All ,

I could Understand from CI and BI documentation in Peoplebooks that CI is for inbound and BI supports both inbound as well as Outbound.

So my question is,Is there any particular reason why we use CI for inbound why not BI for both inbound and outbound.
