If there is anyone that is currently using the InterUnit functionality in 7.5 any information you could provide regarding this functionality would be greatly appreciated. The company I work for currently has a intercompany billing system that is separate from PeopleSoft, we are investing whether the InterUnit functionality can meet all our requirements to allow us from using the other system. Any information, suggestions, lessons learned you could provide on the following would be wonderful:
Can you create an interunit invoice in the AR subledger and then mark the invoice paid in the AP subledger? The only information I have found thus far, is creating interunit journals, and we would like to know if there is an option to use the subledgers.
Any feedback on the use and functionality of the Asset Mgmt interunit capability such as ease of functionality, or any lessons learned that you may have would be beneficial.
