PeopleSoft Financials Developer
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with Finance to determine application needs, documenting the needs to the client and information technology management. Outline the basic concepts of automated applications via data flow diagrams and other standard system development description techniques. Evaluate program and application system performance and assist in operational implementation. Writes source programs from specifications and debug errors in program logic and/or coding. Provide maintenance to application systems according to company IT standards. Support call-in problems. Applicant needs knowledge of PeopleSoft programming languages, operating systems and software. Work with finance department to define problems, determine corrective action to be taken and implement approved changes. Analysis of computer systems, programs, user specifications and requests to determine cost, time lines and resource requirements for projects.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to communicate with various levels of customers, translating their needs into data processing terms, prepare detailed requirements definition, program specification and database requirements, and the ability to design, write, test, debug and document programs.
PeopleSoft Financials Technical Developer
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with PeopleSoft
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials (AR, AP, GL, Asset)
- Experience with Version 7.5
- Skilled with PeopleCode, SQR, Crystal Reports, PeopleTools
- Experience with HP-UX/Oracle
